Hospitals and nursing homes invited to join an exclusive opportunity to participate in a multi-center Covid-19 study.

“My many years of experience as the CEO of the Danish Health and Medicine Authority and CMO at a Danish hospital and Director of the Epidemiology Department at the National Disease Surveillance Institute (Statens Serum Institute) have taught me that data is key in driving behavioural changes.

Moreover, the COVID-19 pandemic has underlined that good surveillance is crucial for us to initiate relevant strategic initiatives – and this is exactly why I am supportive of sani nudge’s automated hand hygiene monitoring solution.”

About the COVIDtrace project:

The Innovation Fund Denmark has allocated 3.9M DKK to a venture project conducted by the medical company sani nudge and the Technological University of Denmark (DTU). Due to the increased workload, healthcare workers (HCWs) often forget to sanitize their hands which poses a huge risk to many patients as well as to other colleagues in the ward. As a consequence, we see a loss of resources as HCWs get infected themselves and need to be quarantined.

The aim of the COVIDtrace project is to improve hand hygiene compliance and automate contact tracing in hospitals and nursing homes in order to quickly identify exposed individuals and initiate appropriate preventive measures, such as quarantine or quick test for Covid-19.
